Tax rules As a consequence of the German tax regulations, there will be a tax on prize money for non-German participants.
The tax is 15,825% and will be deducted from the prizes by the organizer. Anyhow, the tax can be refunded at the end of the year under certain circumstances.
All participants will be obliged to fill in a form provided by the organizer to meet the needs of the tax authorities.

A: Top 40 from the general standing
B: The four highest positioned players from squad 3, not in top 40 of the general standing
C: Top 4 from the desperado standing

Players positioned 1-8 in the general standing are qualified for the final step 3
Players positioned 9-16 in the general standing are qualified for the final step 2
All other qualified players are qualified for the final step 1

32 players will play 4 games starting from scratch
Players positioned 1-12 are qualified for the final step 2
Players positioned 13-32 will be ranked 29-48 according to their positions in the final step 1

20 players will play 4 games starting from scratch
Players positioned 1-8 are qualified for the final step 3
Players positioned 9-20 will be ranked 17-28 according to their positions in the final step 2

16 players will play 4 games starting from scratch
Players positioned 1-8 are qualified for the final step 4, seeded 1-8 according to their positions in the final step 3

In all matches the highest seeded player will meet the lowest seeded player, the second highest seeded player will meet the second lowest seeded player etc.
All matches will be played over 2 games, total pin fall to count

Tournament tie rules
Qualification
In case of a tie, the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest last game. If a tie still exists the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest second last game, then the player with the highest third last game etc.

Desperado
In case of a tie, the highest positioned player will be the player with the highest position after the qualification.

Final Steps 1-3
In case of a tie, the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest last game. If a tie still exists the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest second last game, then the player with the highest third last game etc.

Final Steps 4-6
In case of a tie in any match, a one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is broken.

As far as possible, players will always bowl the same number of games on lanes 1-16 and on lanes 17-32 in each qualification squad and in the final steps 1 and 2.

 

Booking policies
Booking restriction before A maximum of three squads per person can be booked before the tournament starts and maximum two of these bookings can be for squads 9-15

Group bookings require the names of the players to be delivered latest on 31st March 2013. Name changes after the deadline will be considered as cancellations and new bookings. Not meeting that deadline for the delivery of names means that the booking is considered as completely cancelled.

Special rates for tournament bowlers will be available at different hotels. Details will be published at the tournament website.

 

Other information

Shuttle service:
The nearby airport is Berlin-Schönefeld. Free pick-ups from there are provided by our hotel partners.

A Shuttle service between the official hotels and the bowling centre will be available from Thursday to Sunday for a flat fee of 10,- € per person.

World Cup qualification:
The QubicaAMF German Open 2013 is the qualification to the QubicaAMF World Cup 2013 for players from Germany. The best male and the best female player (according to the general standing after the qualification) with German nationality will qualify to participate in the QubicaAMF World Cup 2013. If a qualified player refuses to participate in the QubicaAMF World Cup, the right of participation will be forwarded to the next player in order.
