A: 2 players from a separate standing in squad 1-2 (Sunday)
B: 2 players from a separate standing in squad 3-5 (Monday - Wednesday)
C: 2 players from a separate standing in squad 6-8 (Thursday)
D: 38 players from the general standing including results from all qualification squads
E: 4 players from the desperado squad

Players are qualified from the categories in the order D - C - B - A, which means:
that there always will be 2 players qualified from A, B and C
that players are qualified first from the D standing, then from the C standing etc.
that players positions in A, B, C does not count if they are qualified from any other standing

Seeding for the final step 1-3
Players positioned 1-12 in the general standing will qualify for the final step 3
Players positioned 13-24 in the general standing will qualify for the final step 2
All other qualified players will play in the final step 1

24 players will play 4 games starting from scratch
Players positioned 1-12 is qualified for the final step 2
Players positioned 13-24 will be ranked 37-48 according to their position in the final step 1

Tournament tie rules
Qualification and all final steps
In case of a tie, the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest last game. If a tie still exists the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest second last game, then the player with the highest third last game etc.

Desperado
In case of tie in the desperado squad, the highest positioned player will be the player with the highest position after the qualification.
