As a consequence of the Slovenian tax regulations, there will be a tax on prize money for all participants. The tax, which is 25% of any prize, will be deducted from the prizes by the organizer and net prize will be pay in cash.
Bowlers need to have with them a valid passport!

 

Tournament format
Qualification
6 games (entries and re-entries)

44 players will qualify for the final steps
A: 6 players from a separate standing in squad 01-06 (Tuesday -Thursday)
B: 34 players from the general standing including results from all qualification squads
C: 4 players from the desperado squad

Players are qualified from the categories in the order B - A - C
If any players is qualifies both from A and B, then the next positioned in the A-standing will qualify

The 4 players positioned 1-4 in the qualification, will qualify directly for the final step 3, seeded 1-4, while the 40 other players qualified, will qualify for the final step 1

Final step 1
40 players will play 6 games starting from scratch
Players positioned 1-24 will qualify for the final step 2
Players positioned 25-40 will be ranked 29-44 according to their position in the final step 1

Final step 2
24 players will play 3 games with the pin fall after the final step 1 carried forward
Players positioned 1-12 will qualify for the final step 3, seeded 5-16
Players positioned 13-24 will be ranked 17-28 according to their position in the final step 2

Final step 3
There will be 4 groups, each with 4 players combined as follows:
Group A: Players seeded 1, 8, 9 and 16
Group B: Players seeded 4, 5, 12 and 13
Group C: Players seeded 3, 6, 11 and 14
Group D: Players seeded 2, 7, 10 and 15

Each group will play a 3 games Round Robin with the following bonus points to be added to the scores: 20 pins for a win, 10 pins for a tied game, 10 pins for a game score higher than 239 and 15 points for a game score higher than 269

The 1st and the 2nd positioned in each group will qualify for the final step 4
The 3rd and the 4th positioned in each group will be ranked together, 9-16 according to their seeding

Final step 4
Four matches over 2 games total pin fall, will be combined as follows:
Match A: 1st in Group A vs. 2nd in Group B
Match B: 1st in Group B vs. 2nd in Group A
Match C: 1st in Group C vs. 2nd in Group D
Match D: 1st in Group D vs. 2nd in Group C
The winners of the matches will qualify for the final step 5
The losers of the matches will be ranked 5-8 according to their seeding

Final step 5
Two matches over 2 games total pin fall, will be combined as follows:
Match E: The winner of Match A vs. the winner of Match B
Match F: The winner of Match C vs. the winner of Match D
The winners of the matches will qualify for the final step 6
The losers of the matches will be ranked 3-4 according to their seeding

Final step 6
One match over 2 games total pin fall:
Match G: The winner of Match E vs. the winner of Match F
The loser of the match will be ranked 2
The winners of the match will be ranked 1

 

Tournament tie rules
Qualification and the final step 1-3
In case of a tie, the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest last game. If a tie still exists the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest second last game, then the player with the highest third last game etc. Bonus points in the round robin are not included when games are compared.

Final step 4-6
In case of a tie in a match, a one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is broken.
