Other kind of handicaps Handicap will be based on 60% of 200 average but maximum 35 pins per player.
The calculation of the handicap will be done according to Swiss Bowling rules.
The average of foreign bowlers to be used will be determined during registration based on the players official average shown on the license or at an official website.
For Swiss bowlers players, the official average SB as of 31.12.11, 30.06.11 or after 6 games of the qualification, will count.
It shall be each bowler's responsibility to verify the accuracy of his/her average. Failure to use the correct average shall disqualify score if submitted average is lower than the correct average.
Entry fee € 110
€ 85 for junior bowlers at the age 21 and younger
If the payment is made by April 30, the entry fee for squad 1 will be reduced to € 90
If the payment is made by May 15, the entry fee for squad 2 will be reduced to € 100

Tournament format
Qualification
8 games, split into 2 blocks of 4 games.

Semifinal: 90 players or more
42 players will advance to the semifinal.
50 % of the pin fall will be carried forward.
A total of 5 games will be played.
Lane draw will be done by the organizer, 3 players per lane
The 14 players with the lowest scores after 3 games will be eliminated.
The top 28 bowl another 2 games with the pin fall carried forward, 2 players per lane.
The top 14 players after 5 games will advance to the final.

Semifinal: 89 players or less
28 players will advance to the semifinal.
50 % of the pin fall will be carried forward.
A total of 5 games will be played.
Lane draw will be done by the organizer, 2 players per lane.
The top 14 players after 5 games will advance to the final.

Final
The top 14 players from the semifinals will play 7 games starting from scratch.
The lane will be changed after every game, odd lanes (1, 3, 5...) moves 2 lanes to the left, even lanes (2, 4, 6 …) moves 2 lanes to the right.

Position Point System
Seven rounds, one game each.
In each round points will be awarded to the players according to their position in the respective round.
1st place -14 points, 2nd place -13, 3rd place -12, etc.
At the end of Round 7, double points will be given to the players according to their position based on the 7-game total including handicap.
1st place -28 points, 2nd place -26, 3rd place -24, etc.
The player with the highest point total will be declared the winner of the 35th GP Zürich.

 

Tournament tie rules
Qualification
In the event of a tie in the qualification, the higher positioned player will be the player with the smaller difference between the highest and the lowest game.
In case there will be still a tie, the player with the lower handicap will get the higher position.

Semifinal
In the event of a tie in the semifinals the higher positioned player will be the player with higher position in qualification.

Final
In the event of a tie in the finals the higher positioned player will be the player with the higher 7-game pin fall. If a tie still exists, the player with the lower handicap will get the higher position.
